Caesars becomes Washington Capitals first-ever jersey patch partner

Washington Capitals has named Caesars Entertainment as its first-ever official jersey patch partner, in a deal that places the company’s sportsbook logo on the NHL team’s home jersey and third jersey.

Beginning in the 2022-2023 season, the announcement also marks the team’s first deal announced in the NHL jersey advertising program.

In addition to the home shirt patch, MSE and Caesars Sportsbook have extended their partnership with additional Casino, Gaming and Caesars Rewards programming elements. The deal also includes the right to a Caesars hospitality area and VIP seating at Capital One Arena.

Following the opening of the Caesars Sportsbook at Capital One Arena in May 2021, the 3 x 3.5 inch patch is to be positioned on the upper right chest portion of the jersey.

Thanks to this collaboration, the arena became the very first sports betting site to open in an American professional sports facility.
